Percy: Wait, whaddaya mean you're canceling the Chasing Tail preview!?

ZT: Well, you see, there was a shortage of funding that lead to--

Percy: Bull-hogey! You don't need funding to draw stuff, dude!

ZT: Ah... Fine, okay, so I was lazy. Gimme a break! At least I'm finally starting on the comic itself, right?

Zane: Took you long enough, you bum...

Kola: Dude, come on! You still don't have any ideas for me yet!? *pouts* How the heck am I supposed to get a girl when I don't even have a story to have a girl in, y'know!?

ZT: Uh...

Kira: It's okay to have a little fun Roleplaying from time to time, and taking a break every now and then isn't bad, but... well... you've just plain been slacking.

Kiima: Even Percy doesn't slack as much as you've been... I mean... I understand you like drawing me and all, but...

Kira: Wait, what!? ZT, you've been drawing my Kiima!? You haven't been making her pose for Ecchi again, have you!?

ZT: ...No...? Dude, wait, what!? When have I ever made her pose for ecchi!?

Percy: Uh...*sweatdrop*

Kiima: Um... that was you, Percy...?

Percy: Ah, I just remembered, I had a dentist's appointment... Gotta fly!

ZT: Hey, you! Come back here! Curse you for looking like me! You almost got me killed by Kira!

*Kira and ZT chase after Percy*

Kiima: ...Umm... Well, I suppose it's up to me, Zane, and Kola to tell you the updates now.

Kola: Wow, go figure.

Zane: Great, I have to be in the spotlight...?

Kiima: Zane, why don't you tell them about the updates for Chasing Tail?

Zane: *sigh* Right. Okay, so ZT finally got off of his lazy a-

Kola: Yo, no swearing! This is supposed to be a PG rated Update journal!

Zane: Fine, fine. ZT's finally sketched the Title and first page of Chasing Tail, and Inked the title page. That's why he'd canceled the Preview... so, it was in everybody's best interests. If you don't like it, go whine somewhere else.

Kiima: Right, thank you Zane. Something Zane forgot to mention though, is pretty important... you see, when ZT drew the Preview page, he'd done it in left-to-right order... but he's going to be drawing the actual comic in right-to-left, traditional manga format... That's it for updates on Chasing Tail. Okay, your turn, Kola! Could you tell the readers about the new comic strip series that ZT is going to start working with soon?

Kola: Righto! I know you've all probably been wondering about how all of us here, characters from different stories, interact. Am I right? Well, the fact of the matter is, that the way you see things in the comics will not necessarily be how we are for real. We're just actors, y'know? Like, Percy isn't really Kira and Kiima's kid, and Kiima wasn't really drawn to life by Kira, for example. That was all just acted out for the sake of the comic stories.

Zane: So, what does any of that have to do with the comic strips he's working on...?

Kola: Well, basically ZT wanted to draw comics involving us, his OC friends, showing how we'd interact living under the same roof. But since he doesn't have time because he's actually legitimately working on Chasing Tail now, he decided to make it a series of comic strips for now instead of a major manga project. He does actually intend to make a major comic out of it someday though. Maybe then I'll finally get a chick... *cough*

Percy: Will you stop your blasted whining about not having a girlfriend? Maybe if you get out more, then you'll have somebody!

Kiima: Huh? How did you manage to lose Kira and ZT, Percy?

Percy: Heheh, well... fact 'o the matter is, that ZT is just as pervy as I am, so I know how to get to him. And Kira had to stop to slay a tentacle monster that jumped out of the fridge.

Kola: What!? A tentacle monster... the fridge? Huh?

Percy: Don't ask. Just trust me, you don't wanna know.

Zane: Think I'll take your word for that... *leaves*

Percy: All of that aside, we have a new member in the household...

Kiima: Oh? Really? Who is he?

Percy: Hey, Chiir'e, come on out and meet everybody!

Chiir'e: Hi... How are you all?

Kola: Ah, nice to meet you, fine sir! Welcome to the ZManga Household! I must say, it's nice to finally have a cat-person around here. Adds in some spice to the mix! Bwahaha!

Chiir'e: Er...

Kiima: What's the matter?

Percy: Ah... well you guys, Chiir'e is a she, not a he.

Kola/Kiima: WHAAAT!?

Kola: Oh my gosh, I'm sorry miss! I didn't mean anything by it!

Chiir'e: It's alright, I get it all the time. ZT drew me to look just slightly guyish, anyway.

Percy: It's because of some kind of story idea he had. She's supposed to look a little bit guyish 'cause in the story she's in, female templars aren't respected like males are, and she's disguising herself as a guy.

Kiima: Umm... just one question...

Chiir'e: Yeah? What is it?

Kiima: You aren't... y'know... uh... you don't swing... THAT way, do you?

Chiir'e: ...? Oh... OH! Jeeze, goodness no! No worries about that!

Kiima: O-okay... just wanted to make sure.

Kola: Hmm... in that case, wanna go catch a movie later tonight? Hehehe.

Chiir'e: Sorry, but I'll have to pass on that one... Percy already asked me.

Kola: WHAT!?

Percy: Sorry, buddy. First come, first served! Heehee!

Kola: DUDE! You've already got a blasted harem from--

Percy: HOSHI--KOLA! STOP! THAT'S A MAJOR SPOILER!

Kola: Oh, dude! I'm sorry, man! I didn't mean to say anything about Chasing--

Percy: BAAAH! Kiima, quick! The camera!

Kiima: Right! I'm sorry everybody, but time is up for now! We'll see you next time, bye!
